Santee RIVERKEEPER^® Alliance

The Santee Riverkeeper’s Alliance's mission is to promote respect, protect and improve the Santee River, Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie through education, advocacy and action. Goals include creating clean and healthy river and lakes that sustain life and is treasured  by its people. To achieve this vision, we seek to accomplish the following objectives: sustain a RIVERKEEPER® program, measurably improve water quality, reestablish native bio-diversity, and teach and practice a “water ethic” of ecological respect to all ages, and enforce environmental laws.
