its the one and only rock fish king, Robby Dinkins-are there any other events past October 2009?
Joe Pack and myself were the only members of what he called the 30-30 club. That was anyone
who caught by rod and reel and weighed in at Packs landing any striper over 30lbs was an official
member of the 30-30 club. Neither Jodie,Tracy, Stevie, or Andy was a member. Just Britton, Joe, and me.
Now I am the president and sole known survivor of this prestigous club with a 38lber caught out of the river and weighed in at packs with Andy Pack and a 32 lber caught up stream in the congaree river and weighed in at Columbia, S.C. I would love to hear of any upcoming events and I have a question. Do they still stock stripers in Lake Marion? I heard they did and in Columbia last year I caught about 50, 15 inch stripers over a 2 week period that I caught and released and was told that they did stock them in Lake Marion. Since I live in Lexington now I fish a lot in the Congaree and lower Saluda rivers and we are catching them every year starting in March through late May- I caught the 32 lber 2 yrs ago and it had sea lice in its mouth so it must have made it from the ocean. It looks great on my wall besaide the 38 lber from Packs. Would love to hear back from you.
